Technicians in the film frat seldom receive the importance they deserve, but, more often than not, it is their efforts that give a film the finesse it has. One such field is Sound effect and Sound Design Engineer is Kunal Rajan.

A Sound Engineer by profession, he is trained in the advanced field of sound engineering in Malaysia. A childhood passion to give the silver screen those scintillating sound effects and natural sounds, he polished his skills in the United States, where he also worked for a few Hollywood projects like Blades of Glory and graduated as the chief sound designer for another Hollywood flick, Laid to Rest.

Kunal’s ambitions, however, were much higher and couldn’t be quenched with a few Hollywood projects in his kitty. He realized his dream by establishing his own hi-tech sound studio, called Black Box Entertainment.

This has helped Kunal collaborate with experts in the sound department, including the acclaimed, award winning Resul Pookutty. Kunal worked with Resul for ‘Ghajini’ (in Hindi) and is all set to make a mark with his Tamil forthcoming film, 'Achchamundu Achchamundu', starring Prasanna and Sneha. Apart from this, he also has his hands full with the ambitious Bollywood project, 'Blue', in which he will team up with AR Rahman and, again, Resul.
