The part one of Ayan Mukerji's highly ambitious 'Brahmastra' trilogy was finally released this Friday. Titled 'Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva', the film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead and features an extended cameo appearance from Shahrukh Khan. So far, it seems that the film has managed to impress the audience and at the end of it, makers officially announced and revealed the title of the sequel.
Apparently, the second film in this trilogy will be called 'Brahmastra Part 2: Dev’ and it is being rumored that actors Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan have been approached to play the lead in it. The first part manages to establish Dev's character really well. He is defined as an highly ambitious being who aspires to acquire the ultimate weapon Brahmastra.
Made on a budget on 350 crore rupees, 'Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva' is one of the most expensive Bollywood movies of all time. It was released in six languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
