Cricket enthusiasts and cinephiles are super excited for the release of Kabir Khan's highly anticipated film '83'. The film is based on a golden chapter of Indian sports history and the promotional stuff suggests that it's been made with tremendous attention to detail which really make it a worth watching attempt. However, few days back the production team of the film landed into a legal trouble.
A UAE based finance company, Future Resources FZE, accused the makers of cheating and criminal conspiracy. The production company of the film, Vibri Media has now issued an statement in which they denied the claims of conspiracy and called them baseless.
The statement read, "This action of the complainant prior to the release of the film is motivated, a publicity gimmick and constitutes contempt of court for which Vibri Media Pvt Ltd is availing its legal remedies against the Complainant. The film 83 and the producers are in no way concerned with this and they reserve their right to initiate appropriate action against Future Resources FZE."
The film will release just as planned on 24th of December.
