Make way for 'Rasika Maharaj' Akhil

Being the grandson of Devadasu and son of Manmathudu, Akhil is better than the best in 'Mr. Majnu'. That's what the film's First Look proclaims. The reference to the films of the legendary ANR and Nagarjuna is meant to capitalize on the Akkinenis' capacity for being glamorous, irresistible, oh-so-great, onscreen flirts.
We can see a song immediately after Akhil delivers that 'Miss' dialogue in the film. And, in composing the title song (there in the album as it is?), Thaman might just have taken inspiration from AR Rahman's 'Urvashi' (the tempo of the stanzas) from 'Premikudu'.
George C Williams, whose work in the video is telling, is working on the film. Naveen Nooli is the editor.
Directed by Venky Atluri ('Tholi Prema' fame), it's produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP's BVSN Prasad. Shot, among other locations, in London, the film has Nidhi Aggerwal as the heroine.
Additional story and chief associate direction are by Satish Chandra.
