‘Kanchana’, that is to say ‘Munni 2’ was an instant hit among audiences of all centers and is one of the biggest blockbusters of 2011. The film raked in moolah for the makers and also opened several doors for Raghava Lawrence as a director and an actor, but the actor was busy with his Telugu project that features Prabhas.

Today, on the occasion of Raghavendra Jayanthi, it has been announced that Raghava Lawrence has kick-started work on ‘Munni 3’, a sequel to these two horror thrillers, which will go on floors post his Telugu flick.

It is further said that he will work towards the welfare of a 1500 year old Shiva – Vishnu temple in the city that is seeing a few damages due to lack of maintenance.

A formal announcement listing the other cast and crew of ‘Munni 3’ is expected from the makers shortly.
