In his New Year message, Vijay Deverakonda wears his heart on the sleeve when he tells his fans that he would be giving his mother a hug.  

"She has been upset with me because I have shot been busy with the production works of 'Dear Comrade' for two months non-stop.  I have been to Kakinada for the shoot.  And I need to spend time with my mother.  We don't give back much to the people who matter the most.  I urge you all to make videos of you hugging your parents this special day.  Let's make it a habit," the 'Taxiwaala' actor said, sharing his sweet moments with his parents.  

He asked his fans to use the code 'DeveraSanta' on Rowdy App to receive a personal note from him.  "Happy New Year, Love and Hugs. This new year, let's start it with lots of love, hugs and happiness," the actor signed off.
