"An attempt to honour the legacy of an unsung hero... The start of a MAJOR journey!! Hope you all like it! (sic)," wrote Mahesh Babu, one of the producers of 'Major', unveiling the film's emotions-laced teaser. Adivi Sesh, who has written the film's story and screenplay, has played Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.

"Everyone is a patriot. And the one who protects the patriots is a soldier," says Sesh in the teaser, which traces the story of the idea of becoming a soldier was planted in his mind when he was a kid. Saiee Manjrekar plays his love interest, while Revathi, Prakash Raj and Murali Sharma are also seen in seemingly well-rounded parts. Also starring Sobhita Dhulipala (as a hostage), the film will release in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.

Abburi Ravi, who has provided script guidance, has written the dialogue for the Telugu version. The visuals (thanks to cinematographer Vamsi Patchipulusu and production designer Avinash Kolla) are authentic. Sricharan Pakala's BGM is mild.

Action choreography by Sunil Rodrigues is seemingly important, considering that most of the film is about a terror action. The teaser suggests that the backdrop (of the 26/11 attacks) has been used well. With editing by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi and Kodati Pavan Kalyan, its lyrics are by Ramajogayya Sastry.
