'Major' is hitting the screens on June 3. On May 24, its first-ever pre-release screening was held in Pune. The audience gave the Adivi Sesh-starrer a standing ovation as the film was over.
It's learned that the audience spontaneously erupted into Jai Hindi and Vande Mataram chants after the screening left them emotional. An ex-soldier, who is wheelchair-bound, turned almost teary-eyed in the presence of Sesh.
'To hear Jai Hind chants, cries, laughter and JOY. Here's a moment when I met Commando Shivraj, a 21 Para SF veteran and his wife Lt Col Sivapriya. No calculation. No plan. All honesty," the 'Kshanam' and 'Goodachari' actor wrote on Twitter, sharing a clip from the precious moment.
The film, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and starring Prakash Raj, Revathi and others, will be released in Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
The film's special screening will most likely be held for Pawan Kalyan soon.
Produced by: Sony Pictures Films India, GMB Entertainment, and A+S Movies, 'Major' has action choreography by Sunil Rodrigues. Cinematography is by Vamsi Patchipulusu, while Sri Charan Pakala has composed the music.
