Major fire at Prabhas, Saif's 'Adipurush' set

It was on Tuesday, actor Prabhas took to his social media to announce that his much-awaited film ‘Adipurush’, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, had went on the floors. On Tuesday evening, a major fire broke out on the film sets at around 4 p.m.
Fire brigade officials declared it to be a `level two' fire which is considered as major. Reportedly, around 50-60 people were present when the incident took place at Film City in Goregaon. The lead actors were not present on sets at the time of the incident and there have been no injuries reported so far.
News agency ANI shared a video of the accident on Twitter. "Maharashtra: Firefighting operation underway at the studio in Goregaon, Mumbai where a fire broke out earlier today. No injuries reported so far (sic)," they captioned. The cause of the fire is speculated to be a short circuit on the set.Helmed by filmmaker Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ has been modeled on Lord Ram while Saif will essay the role of the antagonist, Lankesh. Backed by T-series, the film is slated to be released in theaters on August 11, 2022.
