Mahindra has put a lot of their energy, making this landmark product in the brand’s almost 75-years old legacy. Not only it is the first-ever SUV to wear the brand’s new logo, but it also highlights Mahindra’s dramatic transformation from a rustic SUV maker to a technology-forward brand. The entry-level MX variant with the petrol engine is priced at ₹11.99 Lakhs and the diesel engine version of the same MX variant is priced at ₹12.49 Lakhs.

Additionally, Mahindra has announced the prices of AX3 and AX5 variants. The petrol engine versions are sold at ₹13.99 Lakhs and ₹14.99 Lakhs at the showroom. It is to be noted that all these aforementioned models have the 5 seat configuration model and manual transmission modes. The company has announced the prices of 4 models only. The detailed price chart with 6 seat configuration and automatic transmission mode models are yet to be revealed. It is not clear that if there are any more variants to this model.

Mahindra XUV700 is a technological marvel in the SUV model cars. This new vehicle comes with a 3D twin peak design and a sharp and youthful chrome treatment. XUV700 marks the birth of Mahindra SUVs that comes with futuristic technology. There are two wide types MX and AdrenoX and 4 variants in this new four-wheeler. MX is available in 5-seat and 7-seat configurations while AdrenoX comes in AX3, AX5 and the top-spec AX7. This SUV has A-DAS, all-wheel-drive, segment largest sunroof.

The single, free-standing unit on the dashboard is the home to dual 10-inch screens and is powered by AdrenoX AI. The connected features, wireless connectivity (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) and Alexa-based voice support runs without a glitch thanks to the 6-gigabyte processor. XUV700 is the most affordable vehicle with A-DAS technology in India. Here are the smart pilot features: XUV700 has a 360-degree camera and is calibrated with radar-based tech. It also has 7 life-saving airbags. Part of the A-DAS suite will be adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, lane-keeping assist and departure warning and front collision warning.

Mahindra XUV700 is the first car in India to get Sony's inbuilt infotainment system. Sony says that this advanced SUV is India's first to use this premium 3D sound technology. The system will comprise 12 custom-built speakers – including a subwoofer - positioned around the cabin along with a 445W 13 channel amplifier. While one can expect some to be positioned in generic locations such as the doors, dashboard and boot, spy pictures have revealed that the XUV700 will get roof-mounted speakers, similar to the current second-gen Thar. Sony claims that its system will offer “a highly realistic 3D immersive spatial sound field” with an audio sweet spot covering all occupants.

There are two engine options in the XUV700, a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both get a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options. While the petrol unit produces 200PS and 380NM across the board, the 2.2-litre diesel gets various power and torque combinations. The base MX version gets 155PS and 360 NM of torque while the AX series gets 185 PS and 420 NM for manual and 450NM for automatic versions. While there’s an optional all-wheel-drive system, the diesel engine gets four driving modes - Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom modes.
