Mahesh-Murugadoss film title almost certain

Trust AR Murugadoss to come up with curious titles.  Right from Stalin, Ghajini, and 7th Sense, he has been someone who occasionally draws his titles either from history or scientific jargon.  Akira, too, is a case in point.  Latest, he has reportedly chosen one such interesting title for his next with Mahesh Babu.

Guess what, it's again from history.  This time, too, it's not an Indian personality.  Like Stalin and Ghajini, this historical figure has some controversies surrounding him.  It's Vasco Da Gama.  Yes, it's widely held that this is the title of Mahesh's next.  In this Rs. 100 cr-budgeted flick, Mahesh is supposedly seen in the role of a RAW officer.  There are rumours that he is actually a CBI officer, but if Vasco Da Gama is the title, then chances are more that Mahesh is a RAW officer.  Heroism and adventurism can be had more if the protagonist is a RAW officer rather than a CBI officer.

Mahesh will be seen in a new look here.  The shoot will start off with the picturization of a song.

Meanwhile, all efforts are on to start the shoot from July 15 on.  To be music-directed by Harris Jayaraj, it's learnt that between them, the director and the hero are charging a whopping Rs. 43-45 cr.  Murugadoss, who is one of the producers, is said to have demanded about Rs. 20 cr as his fee.
