These days Maheshbabu is regularly going to gym not for regular fitness but for a well- toned body, as he was going to appear topless in the forthcoming film to be directed by ace director Maniratnam for a bilingual film to be made in Telugu and Tamil versions.

Maheshbabu is playing the role of a prince in this film and the character is reported to be Uttama Cholan.

For the first time, Maheshbabu is appearing with a topless in his career, though such act by Allu Arjun helped to bag a hit like ‘Desamuduru’ and a flop like ‘Varudu’.

Anushka was also roped in as one of the heroines and as per the information available, she is playing the younger sister for Maheshbabu and Tamil actor Vijay’s love interest.

Search is still on for a heroine opposite Maheshbabu and it is learnt that some Bollywood heroine is being contacted for debut into the Telugu film industry.

The film is being produced by Kalanidhi Maran on the banner of Sun Pictures and Illayaraja is scoring music for the movie.
