Mahesh Babu (accompanied by Namrata Shirdokar and director Vamsi Paidipally) and Venkatesh today reached the Hyderabad residence of director B Jaya, who passed away on Thursday night due to a heart-related ailment. Mahesh's father, Superstar Krishna, has been associated with the late director's husband, BA Raju, for decades. The Daggubatis, much like a few other cine families, especially the Akkinenis, have high regard for Raju.

Condolences are pouring in from the film industry, which has always held Jaya in high esteem.
