Mahesh's streak on in US

Superstar has yet again proved his superstardom. In US, of course. Banking on the popularity that his movies there enjoy, the distributors of Brahmotsavam had gone for an ambitious release. And their plans have paid off. Like his previous outings in that overseas market, this Mahesh entertainer has crossed the $1 million mark by the end of Sunday.
The many premieres on Thursday last did the trick. On the other hand, the genre has helped.
Note that this has been a consistent record of Prince's movies since the days of Dookudu, when his image rose like the proverbial meteoric rise. While Srimanthudu collected a whopping $2.8 million figure there, Brahmotsavam's BO potential is hardly anybody's guess.
