Mahesh, Rajinikanth to face challenge of the 'entrenched'

Most superstar films are about savious. And this summer, there are three of them in a row. And 'Bharat Ane Nenu' on April 20 and 'Kaala' on April 27 have their own commonalities in a different way.
In 'BAN', the protagonist Bharat (Mahesh Babu) is placed in a conventional environment. He is constrained in achieving the impossible. How he outgrows the limitations posed by circumstances, at personal risk, will be interesting to watch.
Rajinikanth's Kaala Seth is not restricted by any code of conduct. He takes neither the Oath (ala Bharat) nor has he got to salute his superiors (ala Surya in 'Naa Peru Surya'). He is there in an unconventional set-up. What makes the challenge tough for him is the fact he is a Tamilian (is he a Telugu in the Telugu version?) in a Mumbai slum, facing opposition from local power. In this, he comes close to Mahesh Babu's Bharat, who too is seemingly challenged by the entrenched and privileged political class.
As the Teaser of 'NPS' makes it clear, Allu Arjun breaks the rules even at the cost of risking his life. He is ready to die. At the border. But is he also fighting any entrenched interests? Only May 4th will tell.
