Mahesh Babu wanted to take a break from continuous shoots after Sarileru Neekevvaru and he wanted to take a 3 month long break. He was supposed to start his next shoot from April in the direction of Vamshi Paidipally.

He did not like the story and Parasuram Petla came into picture. The director postponed his film with Naga Chaitanya for this film and 14 Reels Plus decided to join Mythri Movie Makers to produce the film with GMB.

As the first look poster came out on 31st May, many fans are expecting the shoot of the film to start from June but the team decided to go for September second week start, it seems.

The actor doesn't want to risk everyone's lives in the movie team. Meanwhile, SS Thaman started composing tunes for the film.
