Mahesh Narayanan to make his Bollywood debut

Renowned film editor turned director Mahesh Narayanan, who is best known for movies such as Malik and Take Off, is all set to enter Bollywood with an upcoming movie titled Phantom Hospital. The story and screenplay of 'Phantom Hospital' are written by Akash Mohimen and Mahesh Narayanan. Touted to be a medical thriller, Mahesh will collaborate with investigative journalist Josy Joseph for the movie that is based on an unusual scandal in the healthcare sector.
In an interview, Narayanan said: "I was instantly drawn to the story inspired from true incidents in the healthcare sector of India. It gives me immense pleasure to associate with Priti Shahani, who as a producer, has consistently delivered quality content, and Josy Joseph, whose meticulous research has added great layers to the story." The film's producer Priti Shahani, known for movies such as Talvar, Raazi, and Badhaai Ho, announced the project on Tuesday. More details regarding the cast and crew are awaited!
Mahesh Narayanan's last Malayalam film, Malik, was released on Amazon Prime Video. The film starring Fahadh Faasil followed the life of Sulaiman Malik, a leader who will go an extra mile to help the people of his community, provide support and stand up against the corrupt forces.
