Mahesh looks smashing

Mahesh Babu is handsome in his own sort of way. And in Puri Jagan's Pokiri, he looks really smashing.
In Pokiri, Mahesh sports long hair (something that Nags also did in Puri's previous film Super).
Mahesh also looks casual but trendy with a macho jeans and a dark half-sleeve shirt.
The director says the new look is not for mere effect. According to Puri Jagan, the cultivated casual chic look goes well with the kind of character that Mahesh plays in the movie.
It is not only the looks. Even the costumes match the image and character, he adds. 'A lot of thought has gone into it'.
Mahesh plays a rough and tough hero. The story itself is set against the backdrop of land mafia.
A clutch of character artistes led by Prakash Raj, Nasser, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde play pivotal roles.
Ileana, the heroine, oozes glamour as she plays an aerobics trainer.
