Leading Tollywood producer Mahesh Koneru, who worked as a PRO for hundreds of Telugu films, has passed away suddenly after suffering a massive heart attack. The forty year old was in Vishakapatnam when the untimely end came. The Telugu industry is in utter shock and many top celebrities have taken to social media to convey their condolences.

Junior NTR for whom Mahesh worked as a manager for a long time has tweeted “With the heaviest of heart and in utter disbelief, I am letting you all know that my dearest friend S M Konery is no more. I am shell shocked and utterly speechless. My sincerest condolences to his family and his near and dear.”

Mahesh Koneru, has done PR work for many films including 'Bahubali' and has produced films such as '118', starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Keerthy Suresh's 'Miss India'. He also bought the rights and dubbed and released two Thalapathy Vijay movies 'Bigil' and 'Master' in Telugu. Vijay had praised him for giving both the films a wide release and promoting them vigorously that helped rake in the moolah at the box office.
