Mahesh Bhatt is in high spirits after the release of Pooja Bhatt’s film Holiday. He is now planning to remake an old English classic by Billy Wilder -Sunset Boulevard (1950).

The film will star Shiney Ahuja and Pakistani actress Meera. The film is about an actress who has lost her prime in bollywood but lives in an illusion that the industry will accept her with open arms. She is a diva who is almost faded away. It is quite an extension of Late Nadira’s character in Pooja Bhatt’s first film Tamanna.

This film will be produced and directed by Pooja Bhatt. Meera plays the lead. She has a certain passionate look in her eyes that makes her perfect for the role. Shiney Ahuja ( Hazaron Khwahishein Aisi) is Meera’s co star.

He also fits the bill for a non conventional hero. Bhatt dismisses all news about this film being compensation to Meera for not having her in Who Lamhe. This film will be titled Akelapan.
