The allegations of plagiarism on director AR Murugadoss by Varun Rajendran has become a raging issue with criticism now squared on Writers Union head K.Bhagyaraj for supporting the latter without reading the script of 'Sarkar'. Meanwhile, Tagore Madhu, who has produced several films of ARM including 'Spyder' starring Mahesh Babu, has come out strongly in support of the director.
Tagore Madhu stated, "On both personal and professional fronts, I have travelled with AR Murugadoss more than anyone else. In the last 18 years, I have produced 5 films with him. A genius and a highly disciplined filmmaker, he never arrived late, ever in 18 years even once, be it for script discussion or a shoot or post. He is a very hard working man when it comes to writing scripts. I know how much passion he has and how much he struggles to create each of his stories, scenes, like his own babies. HE WRITES HIS OWN SCRIPTS! Plain and simple. There is NO second thought about it."
'Sarkar', starring Vijay in the lead, will hit the screens on November 6 in both Tamil and Telugu. It will release in about 2500 screens across the world.
