It's not uncommon for directors/actors/producers to name their offspring after the main characters in their films. It's now the turn of Anil Ravipudi to do so.

The 'F2' director has named his son as Ajay Suryansh. The Ajay in the name is because Mahesh Babu's name in his 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' was Ajay Krishna. The Sankranthi release, which had the 'Bharat Ane Nenu' star in the role of a soldier, was a big turning point in Anil's career. "The film has catapulted me to the next level in terms of stature. Since my son was born during its making, I gave him the name," the director, who is going to direct 'F3' next, says.

The film, starring Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine, was in competition with Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' in January. It was Vijayashanthi's comeback movie and starred Prakash Raj as the antagonist.
