Mahesh Babu's WhatsApp chat 'predicted' national honour for 'Maharshi'

With 'Maharshi' winning two National Film Awards, director Vamshi Paidipally is on cloud nine. On Tuesday, the director said that when 'Oopiri' had won a Filmfare Award in 2017, Mahesh Babu messaged him saying his next achievement would be a national honour. This was when 'Maharshi' was yet to go on the floors but was a confirmed project already.
Vamsi, taking to Twitter, shared a screenshot of the WhatsApp conversation between him and the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' superstar from more than three years ago. "Whatever you need for our film, I will be there. Just take it to the next level," the superstar told the director.
After last year's 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', Mahesh was supposed to team up with Vamshi. The project was dropped and he took 'SVP' instead.
This is the second time that a WA screen-grab of Mahesh's chats were outed this month. Earlier, Akkineni Nagarjuna tweeted a screenshot of Mahesh congratulating him on the trailer of 'Wild Dog'.
