Recently, Mahesh Babu threw his weight behind the Telangana government’s noble and far-sighted Haritha Haram initiative by throwing and accepting the greening challenge. He even became the first celebrity to involve his kids in the noble cause.
The respected superstar is now supporting #Sisters4Change, a road rules awareness campaign initiated by TRS MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha. As per the initiative, sisters are urged to gift a helmet to their brothers this Raksha Bandhan. "Every day, 28 people die in road accidents in India just because they don't wear helmets. It means 28 families lose their beloved ones every day for this one reason. It's time for change," the 'Maharshi' star is seen saying in a video message.
Thanking the actor for participating in the campaign, Kavitha said, "Happy Birthday @urstrulyMahesh garu !! Best wishes and a heartfelt thank you for your video message supporting this virtuous cause of #Sisters4Change. I'm sure this will inspire others to #GiftAHelmet and save precious lives!"
