It's known that Mahesh Babu won't be working for the next three months. This was made official by Namrata Shirodkar months before the release of 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'. Since then, the actor too has confirmed the same. In an interview recently, Mahesh stated that he has been working non-stop for years and therefore, he feels he needs to relax now.

Mahesh is using this break to undergo a surgery to his knee, a report published by an English-language daily says. The superstar injured his knee during the making of 'Aagadu' back in 2014. The pain hasn't abated. On the advice of doctors, he has decided to undergo surgery in the US now that he can give his leg rest for the next few months.

The actor will work with Vamshi Paidipally from May or so on his next movie. He is believed to be playing a smart spy in the untitled movie that will be bankrolled by Dil Raju. Thaman will compose the music.
