Recently, when 'Tubelight' bombed at the box office, Salman Khan offered to ensure that the distributors who had suffered huge losses to the tune of Rs. 60 Cr were compensated to an extent.
It seems Mahesh Babu is now going to make good the loss suffered by his 'SPYder' producer. Reportedly, NV Prasad is going to get back a part of the remuneration from Mahesh.
On the face of it, the producers had a gain before the film was released. Made at a cost of Rs. 125 Cr, the theatrical and non-theatrical rights of all the versions fetched at least Rs. 35 Cr more. It seems the compensation is meant to ease some costs. The actor was paid a bomb as 'SPYder' is a bilingual.
'Bharath Ane Nenu', meanwhile, will release in April 2018. He will start shooting for the Vamshi Paidipally-Dil Raju-Ashwini Dutt movie from February next.
