Mahesh Babu to compensate for his absence

Mahesh Babu was supposed to play Gona Gannareddy in 'Rudhramadevi' and Gunasekhar even approached the Superstar for the role. But Mahesh didn't show interest to act in the film and later Allu Arjun bagged the role.

Mahesh share a good equation with Gunasekhar. Both of them worked together for three films 'Okkadu', 'Arjun' and 'Sainikudu'. So the Prince is going to compensate for not acting in the film. If reports are to be believed, Mahesh will be promoting the film for Gunasekhar. Chiranjeevi's voice over is going to be one of the highlights of 'Rudhramadevi', which is scheduled for a release at the end of this month.
