Mahesh Babu on Saturday welcomed the 'Restart Package' announced by the Jaganmohan Reddy government. The Tollywood superstar thanked the Chief Minister for the relief package meant for theatres in the State.

"#CinemaRestartPackage... A commendable move by our hon'ble CM @ysjagan! A big thank you to the Government of AP for bringing in these relief measures during these challenging times which will help restructure and restart our Telugu film industry!" the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' star wrote, adding that cinema is back on track.

The 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor's 'thank you' note to the CM comes hours after Megastar Chiranjeevi extended his sincere gratitude to the CM for the "very compassionate #CinemasRestartPackage for the exhibitors." The 'Acharya' actor further said, "The various relief measures are the need of the hour for the sustenance of Theatres and the Telugu Film Industry as a whole and will greatly benefit livelihoods of thousands of families."
