Here is one more proof that Superstar Mahesh Babu believes in and practises charity. The actor has been financing an NGO engaged in conducting free health camps in slum areas. The NGO has reached out to about 150 patients per day for the last six years.
Issuing a statement, NRI Seva's (the NGO) founder says that Mahesh and his wife Namrata Shirodkar have been supporting the cause for their personal satisfaction. "We wanted to reveal it only after the release of 'Bharat Ane Nenu', as we didn't want anybody to think that it's for the movie's promotion. I have been amazed how quietly and affectionately they (the couple) help others who are in real need," the founder says.
Mahesh Babu has been sponsoring NRI Seva Foundation's Free Sports Rehab Center program for poor/needy Indian athletes.
