Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Meets Filmmaker Rajamouli for Collaboration

Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida welcomed Mahesh Babu’s film crew and shared a post regarding it.
The shooting of Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film, directed by SS Rajamouli, is currently taking place in Odisha. Due to leaked scenes online, the crew has now strengthened security during filming. Meanwhile, the Odisha Deputy CM extended a warm welcome to the film’s team.
In her post on social media platform X, she mentioned that following the shooting of Pushpa-2 in Malkangiri, Rajamouli’s highly anticipated film “SSMB29” is now being filmed in Koraput. The movie stars Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and internationally renowned actress Priyanka Chopra.
She emphasized that such film projects will boost Odisha’s tourism and transform the state into a key filming destination. She also assured full support and world-class infrastructure for the film industry in Odisha.
Through this announcement, it has been confirmed that Mahesh Babu will share screen space with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priyanka Chopra. However, Rajamouli has not yet released any official statement regarding the film.
