The business of Mahesh Babu's Spyder is not up to the mark at the Kerala box office in its opening weekend. If the trade buzz is taken into consideration, the bilingual movie grossed only rupees one crore from its first five days of theatrical run.

The performance of Spyder is average in other southern states as well. In Tamil Nadu, the movie grossed Rs 9 crore and in Karnataka, Spyder fetched Rs 10.3 crore. The worldwide gross collection reportedly stands at Rs 124 crore. Meanwhile, Tagore Madhu, one of the producers, confirmed that the film has collected Rs 102.60 and pictures of the exact area-wise collections were also shared on the fan pages.

Mahesh Babu and Rakul Preet Singh's Spyder is written and directed by AR Murugadoss. The spy-thriller features Mahesh Babu in the role of a CCTV officer and SJ Suryah has played the role of antagonist.
