Details of Mahesh Babu's Chennai schedule for A.R. Murugadoss bilingual

As we had reported earlier, director A.R.Murugadoss has been shooting his upcoming bilingual starring Mahesh Babu in Chennai. Now in the first official announcement from the makers, it has been confirmed that the Tollywood Prince shot for 20 days in Chennai for the film.


Mahesh Babu, the reigning Super star in Telugu film Industry has got an enlarging fan community across the linguistic borders. Especially in Chennai, he commands a huge fan following and most of his films have had a successful run at Chennai BO. Encouraged by such a support, the handsome actor has now ventured himself in the Tamil Film Industry by joining hands with A R Murugadoss, on a bilingual project that is all set to ignite the commercial hubs of both the languages.

This much expected film with a combo of two power houses as Hero and Director commenced the shooting in Hyderabad last month. After a brief breezy spell of shoot in Hyderabad, the unit shifted to Chennai for a major portion of the film. The twenty days of work happened in huge sets specially erected for this film in the out skirts of Chennai.

The film's Producer Madhu visibly elated over pulling off such a magical combination with Mahesh Babu, Murugadoss, and the celebrated cinematographer Santhosh Sivan says, “The amount of excitement and energy the presence of Mahesh Babu creates in Chennai is astonishing. The star power is enormous. We have shot close to twenty days in Chennai with some major portions covered. We have got the best of combination that will give this film a great avenue to explore the commercial arena to a greater level.”

The yet to be titled film has many prominent Tamil film industry celebrities apart from the director. S.J. Suryah plays the lead villain. RJ Balaji has been roped in for an important supporting role. Harris Jayaraj is rendering the musical score. Rakul Preet Singh is the lead heroine.
