Mahesh Babu’s reply on Bollywood debut is gold: Netizens

Mahesh Babu was on Wednesday asked at an even if he is willing to debut in Bollywood. The actor’s response has been going viral among Netizens, who are calling it pure gold. 

In his reply, the ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ star said that he doesn’t need to do Hindi films. Exuding confidence, he further said, “I can just do a Telugu film and it will get seen all over the world.” He made an indirect reference to how Telugu films like ‘RRR’ have gone great guns in the Hindi market. “You would want to be in a position where you do only Telugu films,” he has been quoted as saying by ToI.

In 2011 or so, Mahesh ruled out debuting in Bollywood, stating that he wants to take Tollywood to the global stage. Like a lot of things, ambitions take time to come to fruition. 

‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ is Mahesh’s upcoming movie. Amidst rumours that the Parasuram Petla directorial will be postponed, his team has sent feelers that the film will hit the screens on May 12.
