Mahesh Babu replaces Dulquer Salman?

We had reported earlier that Maniratnam has decided to make his next movie as a trilingual in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi with the cast rumored to be Karthi, Dulquer Salman, Shruti Haasan, Nithya Menen and Keerthi Suresh for the Tamil/Telugu versions.

Now news doing the rounds is that Dulquer is no more a part of this project and Mani is keen on bringing Mahesh Babu on board. It may be worth recalling that Maniratnam had signed Mahesh Babu for a project a couple of years that did not take off and the exciting combo is close to happening now. Let us wait for the official confirmation.
