The glacier burst tragedy in Uttarakhand has left seven dead so far. As many as 170 are feared missing. Several film and sporting celebrities across the country have been putting out condolence messages and lauding the heroic efforts put in by rescue teams in this regard. Several Tollywood stars have taken to social media to pray for the victims and appreciate ITBP and other forces.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja wrote that prayers are for the people of Uttarakhand battling a tough time. "Hoping everyone trapped in the affected areas is rescued and brought to safety," the 'Krack' actor added. Sai Dharam Tej, who awaits the release of 'Republic', wrote, "Praying for everyone’s safety... Hats off to those who are helping and rescuing the needy in the affected areas. They are the real heroes."
