Vijayendra Prasad is yet to finish writing the script for Mahesh Babu's movie to be directed by his son, SS Rajamouli. Meanwhile, speaking to a portal, the 'RRR' writer made it clear that the film won't go on the floors this year. In all probability, it will go on the floors in the first half of 2023.
With Rajamouli, it is always a safe bet to assume that the film goes on the floors later. So, expect the SSMB-Rajamouli movie to be rolled out in the second quarter of 2023.
Mahesh will complete the shoot for Trivikram Srinivas' movie this year. That doesn't leave much time for the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor to take up another project before Rajamouli's movie.
In April this year, we asked Vijayendra Prasad what is the movie's budget? We asked him if the budget is Rs 800 Cr. Prasad said that the budget can't be ascertained without a script in place.
Mahesh's film is not the only one the 'Baahubali' writer is busy with. After exploring Rani Laxmibai's story with 'Manikarnika', Prasad has written a story based on the life of Lachit Borphukan, the 17th Century commander in the Ahom kingdom in the present-day Assam. He is also working on a script for Salman Khan.
