Months after Vamshi Paidipally rubbished the rumour that Mahesh Babus' 25th film is inspired by an Australian series, here comes the gossip that the 'Bharat Ane Nenu' actor is playing a coming-of-age character of the kind seen in the 2004 film 'The Motorcycle Diaries'. Doses of adventure will also be seen in the film, the rumour says.
This buzz assumes that Mahesh goes on a journey, only to come across startling discoveries that change his thinking. If true, the male protagonist's character is written to imitate revolutionary Che Guevara's idealism. But since the film itself is not set for the major part in India, one takes the speculation with a pinch of salt. Sometimes, even peripheral similarities are taken too seriously.
Produced jointly by Ashwini Dutt and Dil Raju, its story is by Vamshi, Hari, and Solomon. Recently, Bollywood's KU Mohanan was roped in as the director of photography. He has done 'Don', 'Talaash' and 'Raees' in the past. As is known, Pooja Hegde is the film's heroine. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
