Mahesh Babu out: Koratala cancels Charan's post-'RRR' project?

A few days ago, some unconfirmed reports said that director Koratala Siva had got the best bargain possible from Megastar Chiranjeevi. Chiru's 'Acharya', the reports said, would have Mahesh Babu in a powerful supporting role. How did Koratala make Chiru accept the proposal of roping in Mahesh? The buzz had it that the 'Bharat Ane Nenu' director made a sexy offer to Chiru and producer Ram Charan. He promised that he will direct Ram Charan's next movie if he lets Mahesh do 'Acharya'.
It seems all the plans have gone haywire. The latest reports say that Mahesh won't be doing 'Acharya'! The supporting role will be played by Charan himself. For whatever reason, the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' star is not doing 'Acharya', much to Koratala's disappointment.
What now happens to Koratala's promise to direct Charan's solo movie after 'RRR'? Obviously, that won't be happening. It's because it was a conditional promise. With Mahesh not doing 'Acharya', Koratala is not morally bound to work with Charan after 'Acharya'. Although Chiru and Charan both like Koratala to direct a solo movie of the 'Rangasthalam' actor, that won't be happening for now.
This is the second time that Charan has missed out the opportunity to work with Koratala. Remember that a project was launched and shelved before Koratala went on to work with NTR Jr on 'Janatha Garage' years ago?
