Perhaps, Mahesh Babu is the first Telugu star son to face a question on the ongoing Nepotism debate in Bollywood.

In an interview, he was most recently asked about star kids grabbing opportunities, while talents with no background are left in the lurch. "I believe that only talent works. My first film was a bit hit only because of my father. I had the support of his fans. But, my second, third and fourth films fell flat on the face," the 'SPYder' star said, suggesting that it's talent alone that has made him what he is today.

When Tamil actor Dhanush was asked the same question, a similar answer came from him recently. "I think talent alone exists. It doesn't matter what is your background or whether you have one. Nothing can stop a true talent," he said.

Mahesh is now gearing up for the release of 'SPYder' on Sept 27. Made on a cost of Rs. 125 Cr, the spy thriller is set to make it big.
