It has been rumoured that Namrata Shirodkar has a lot of role to play in what Mahesh Babu endorses. Speaking at the brand endorsement event of Big C on Friday, the superstar clarified his wife's role.

The 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' star said that it's he who picks the brands, while his wife takes care of other issues, such as managing it from behind the scenes.

Talking about 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', which has been helmed by Parasuram Petla (who is a Puri Jagannadh protege), Mahesh said, "It was exciting when I listened to the script. The rushes are also exciting. 'SVP', we feel, is going to be another 'Pokiri'. I okayed the script in just one sitting. I don't go for repeat sittings usually." He also added that about 60-70% of the production works have been completed and that the action thriller is headed for a Sankranthi 2022 release. "You are going to see a new Mahesh in the movie," he added.

Mahesh also thanked his fans for making the special shows of 'Dookudu' on the 10th anniversary of the film. Out of 26 special shows, 23 were Housefull shows.
