At a time when Mahesh Babu is finalizing projects like never before (he has films lined up with Vamshi Paidipally, Puri Jagannadh, Koratala Shiva and Trivikram Srinivas, apart from the current assignment with AR Murugadoss), here is the news that a Kollywood production house is in talks with him for a tri-lingual film (and Mahesh will be the hero of the Telugu version).

Yes, the news is that Sri Thenandal Films' prestigious 100th production, which will be directed by Sundar C, will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Each of these versions will have three different male leads. The Tamil version will have Vijay playing the lead. The Telugu version's hero could be Mahesh, if he okays the script. The film belongs to the genre of a historical.

The estimated budget of the three versions is said to be beyond Rs. 350 cr, making this the costliest venture ever directed by a single director.

It has been confirmed that the 'Mozart of Madras' AR Rahman, Art director Sabu Cyril, and VFX expert Kamalakannan are on board.

It will be interesting to see Mahesh Babu's response to the offer.
