There are rumours that Mahesh Babu's remuneration for 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' is upwards of Rs 50 Cr.  Co-producer Anil Sunkara has responded to the rumours.

Speaking to a senior journalist, he said, "I have not paid a single penny to my hero till now.  He is one of the partners of the movie."

He suggested that Mahesh will walk away with a bigger figure if the film becomes a blockbuster.  This goes to show that the 'Maharshi' actor is going to pocket a huge sum for the movie as one of the partners.  

Dil Raju is the film's other producer.  Anil Sunkara refutes the rumour that he has differences with him.  "Raju garu is close to me.  I am happy to be sharing the film's production credits with him," he says.

About 75 percent of the film's production works have been completed.  A comeback film of both Vijayashanthi and Bandla Ganesh, it will release for Sankranthi-2020.
