On Monday, the superstar personally handed over a cheque of Rs 50 lakhs to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, contributing to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Accompanied by his wife, former Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar, Mahesh Babu met with the Chief Minister at his residence in Jubilee Hills. The generous donation is intended to support relief efforts and assist those affected by the devastating floods.

Earlier, the actor had announced on X, "In light of the floods impacting both the Telugu states, I am pledging a donation of 50 lakhs each to the CM Relief Fund for both AP and Telangana." This commitment underlines his concern for the well-being of people across both states affected by the natural disaster.

Additionally, reports suggest that Mahesh Babu, on behalf of AMB Cinemas, donated another Rs 10 lakhs towards flood relief. This gesture further underscores his dedication to helping those in need during this challenging time.

While actively involved in the pre-production phase of his upcoming project, a globe-trotting magnum opus directed by S.S. Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu prioritized extending a helping hand to flood-affected Telangana. The CMO officially acknowledged the actor's contribution, stating, “Film actor Mahesh Babu has donated 50 lakh rupees to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for the relief of the flood victims. On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated them for standing by the government in supporting the victims.”
