Are we going to see a big-ticket multi-starrer in the coming years? Looks like the case. Akkineni Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu surely want to give it a try, marking the coming together of the Akkineni-Ghattamaneni families on the big screen.

On Thursday, after the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' star unveiled the trailer of 'The Ghost', the 'Bangarraju' actor wrote an interesting message. "I was so happy 29 years ago when your father SuperStar Krishna Garu joined me for the film 'Varasudu'!! Why don’t we complete the circle?" he wrote, addressing Mahesh.

After a couple of hours, the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor replied to Nag saying that it would be an absolute pleasure. "Now that would be something to look forward to!" he wrote.

The Twitter exchange has sparked speculations that the two stars were openly hinting at a reunion. Mahesh, on his part, is going to start the shoot of SSMB28 in early September. Directed by Trivikram, the film has Pooja Hegde as the heroine. As for Nag, he is gearing up for Bigg Boss S6.
