Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu has lost his dear mother Indira Devi who breathed her last in a private hospital in Hyderabad where she was admitted a few days back for age related illness. She was said to be heartbroken after her elder son Ramesh Babu a film producer passed away at the age of 56 in January this year.

Indira Devi is survived by her husband Telugu superstar Krishna and three daughters apart from Mahesh Babu. Condolences are pouring in from all quarters of the Telugu and Indian film industries. Her body will be kept at the family owned Padmalaya Studios in Hyderabad for celebrities, fans and the public to pay their last respects.

Indra Devi is credited for being a pillar of strength to her husband Krishna during his superstardom by taking care of the five children and the entire household. Krishna later married actress Vijaya Nirmala who also passed away in 2019.
