As many as 20 Indian soldiers were martyred while defending India against China on June 15 at Eastern Ladakh. Film celebs have saluted the bravehearts on Twitter.
Mahesh Babu, who played a soldier in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', wrote, "Deeply disturbed and saddened to learn that our soldiers were martyred at #GalwanValley. Your sacrifice for the nation will forever be etched in our hearts. We salute your bravery and patriotism. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Jai Hind."
Kajal Aggarwal extended a "big salute to our Indian soldiers who were martyred at #GalwanValley." The actress added, "Om Shanti. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families."
Tamannaah Bhatia tweeted, "My heart goes out to the families of our soldiers who lost their lives fighting relentlessly for us. Om Shanti!"
'Arjun Suravaram' and 'Karthikeya-2' actor Nikhil Siddhartha, addressing Manjula, the mother of Colonel Santosh Babu, said, "Amma, we are all with you. Please stay strong... Your sacrifice will never be forgotten."
