Mahesh Babus Indian-American fan serving children

A Mahesh Babu fan from the US has been so much inspired by 'Bharat Ane Nenu' that he has come to Siddapur, Telangana, all the way from the US just to teach government school kids. An Indian American, his name is Srujan Koneru.

As quoted by an English-language daily, the youngster will spend a month at this school, which is in a village adopted by Mahesh Babu.

'BAN' was a tipping point. Srujan, who belongs to the Penn State University, has been hearing a lot from his parents and relatives in the US about how government schools in India have now fallen from grace over decades. After seeking permission from the Chief Secretary of the state, Srujan, an Indian-American, started out to teach communication skills and other subjects to the students of class 7 and 8.
