Mahesh Babu inaugurates mall, mild stampede reported

Mahesh Babu was today there at Kukatpally junction in Hyderabad to inaugurate a shopping mall. He is the brand ambassador of a textile brand, which today opened a new branch.

Since the superstar's arrival was advertised widely, thousands had gathered at the venue to catch a glimpse of the actor. They cheered him as he came out of his vehicle and walked up the stairs. At this, due to commotion and jostling, a woman is reported to have fallen unconscious. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.

Again when the 'Bharat Ane Nenu' star came onto the stage to address the gathering and the media, there was a mild stampede. Reportedly, the local inspector was mildly injured in the ensuing melee.
