Ramesh Babu (56) was laid to rest on Sunday at Film Nagar's Maha Prasthanam. His mortal remains were placed at Padmalaya Studios in the morning. As expected Mahesh Babu couldn't attend the last rites and see his beloved brother. The reason is that he has been isolating himself at home after contracting Covid-19 last week.
But the family members reportedly WhatsApp-ed the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor some pics of Ramesh Babu's mortal remains. Seeing them, the superstar turned emotional. He made a video call and consoled his sister-in-law and other family members. The actor gave them words of strength. Superstar Krishna, the deceased man's father and yesteryear legendary actor, was visibly devastated.
As the last rites were taking place, the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor took to social media and made a now-viral, heart-felt post. "You have been my inspiration. You have been my strength. You have been my courage. You have been my everything. If not for you, I would not have been half the man I am today," Mahesh wrote, addressing his late brother, adding that Ramesh Babu will be his 'annayya' if he has another life. "Love you forever and ever and ever," Mahesh added.
