The shooting of Superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming movie Brahmotsavam is progressing at brisk pace. After this film, Mahesh will be joining hands with director Murugadoss for a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. This untitled project will go onto the sets from April. According to reports, Mahesh has given his nod of approval to star in a big budget extravaganza after this Murugadoss directorial.

To be produced by Aswini Dutt, the film will be directed by Gautham Menon and is going to be a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil. The film will be launched later this year and is expected to hit the screens in summer, 2017. The news has been confirmed by sources close to Aswini Dutt. They said,"It's going to be a different subject which our filmmakers haven't explored for long. The film will showcase Mahesh in a new avatar. The script work is on and the film will go onto the sets in the last quarter of 2016."

It may be recalled that Mahesh Babu made his debut as a hero with Aswini Dutt's Raja Kumarudu and also starred in damp squib Sainikudu. This will be Mahesh's third film with Aswini Dutt. More details on this film are awaited.
